Raw Mānuka Honey 100+ MGO
Raw Mānuka honey from New Zealand, certified at 100+ MGO. Not blended. Not pasteurised. Not adjusted. The honey as it comes from the hive — with its enzymes, amino acids, and natural antibacterial properties fully intact.
Once extracted in raw form, the honey is tested in a registered New Zealand laboratory for its natural Methylglyoxal (MGO) levels. MGO 100+ is independently verified. The number is a laboratory result, not a marketing decision.
Use it daily. A teaspoon in warm water in the morning. Applied directly to skin as a 15-minute mask and rinsed with warm water. Applied to the lips overnight. One jar, multiple habits — all of them worth keeping.

Frequently Asked +
What does MGO 100+ mean?
MGO stands for Methylglyoxal — the naturally occurring compound unique to Mānuka honey. MGO 100+ means a minimum of 100mg per kilogram, independently laboratory-certified in New Zealand.
Can I use this on my skin as well as eating it?
Yes. Apply directly to clean skin as a mask for 15–20 minutes and rinse with warm water. The antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties work topically as well as internally.
Why is my honey crystallised?
Crystallisation is natural in raw, unpasteurised honey and does not affect the MGO rating. Store at room temperature. To restore texture, place the jar in a bowl of warm water — never microwave.
Is this the same honey used in the skincare products?
Yes. ACTIVIST uses the same single-origin Mānuka honey across its ingestible and topical range.
About ACTIVIST Mānuka +
ACTIVIST was founded by Gabrielle Mirkin and Luke Harwood, a husband and wife team whose love of the land traces back to their childhoods in New Zealand. After careers in New York — Mirkin as a senior designer at Vogue, Harwood running an independent fashion label — they returned to New Zealand, started keeping bees, and built a brand around one of the most bioactive ingredients on earth.
The Mānuka honey is wildcrafted in Aotearoa during a short seasonal window. Every product is certified, traceable, and formulated with the kind of precision that only comes from people who grew up where the ingredient lives.
Food supplement. Store at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children under 12 months.
